Aceezy (“Aceezy”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile application that connects tennis students with tennis coaches for discovering, scheduling, and communicating about lessons. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using Aceezy, you agree to this Policy.
Adults only. Aceezy is intended solely for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. See Children’s Privacy below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the service. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and we do not process payments inside the app.
Account information
- Email address and password — for account creation, sign-in, and password reset. Passwords are handled and stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see or store your plain password.
- Name and account type (coach or student).
Profile information
- All users: profile photo, your city and U.S. state, and age.
- Students: tennis skill level, UTR rating (optional), play frequency, and lesson preferences (format and preferred times).
- Coaches: bio, academy/club, years of experience, certifications, specialties, languages spoken, a cover photo, lesson listings, and venue (court) addresses you enter.
No GPS / precise location. Your location is only the city and state you type in. We do not access your device’s GPS. “Near me” sorting uses an offline list of city coordinates based on the city you enter.
Content you create
- Direct messages and class announcements/chat.
- Reviews and star ratings of coaches.
- Photos you upload (profile and cover images).
- Reports and blocks you submit for safety/moderation.
Usage information
- Lesson bookings and registration history.
- Coaches you favorite.
Technical & device information
- Push notification token (a device identifier) so we can deliver notifications. Cleared when you sign out.
- Crash diagnostics — if the app crashes, technical details (error logs, device model, OS version, and IP address at the diagnostics level) are sent to our crash-reporting provider to help us fix problems.
- Device time zone — to correctly display lesson times.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and operate your account and profile.
- Connect students with coaches, and power discovery, scheduling, and bookings.
- Enable communication (messages and announcements) between coaches and students.
- Send push notifications you’ve enabled (lesson reminders, booking and approval updates, messages, announcements).
- Maintain trust & safety (handle reports, blocks, and moderation).
- Diagnose crashes and improve app stability.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app or cross-site advertising or tracking.
3. How Information Is Shared
With other users
Aceezy is a social marketplace, so some information is visible to others by design:
- Coach profiles (name, photo, cover photo, bio, academy, experience, certifications, specialties, languages, and aggregate rating) are visible to people browsing coaches.
- When you book with a coach, that coach can see your name, age, skill level, and UTR.
- Reviews you leave (rating, text, your name and photo) appear publicly on the coach’s profile.
- Profile and cover photos are stored at publicly accessible URLs.
Your email, push token, and notification/theme preferences are private and are not shown to other users.
With service providers
We share data with vendors who process it on our behalf to operate the app:
- Supabase — backend hosting, database, authentication, and file storage (stores your account and app data).
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers push notifications using your device push token.
- Google (Firebase Crashlytics) — receives crash diagnostics.
- Apple (Apple Push Notification service) — delivers push notifications on iOS.
- Google Fonts — one display font may be loaded from Google’s servers, which exposes your device’s IP address to Google.
- Maps — if you tap to get directions to a lesson, the venue address is passed to your device’s maps app (e.g. Apple Maps or Google Maps).
For legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Aceezy, our users, or the public.
4. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, we use your device push token to send lesson reminders, booking/approval updates, messages, and announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or in the app. Signing out removes your push token.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile → your public profile → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, bookings, messages, reviews, and uploaded photos, and the deletion cannot be undone. 6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls that restrict each user to their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
Aceezy is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor wishes to receive coaching through Aceezy, an adult parent or guardian (18+) must create and manage the account on their behalf. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at the email below.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & correction: view and edit your profile information in the app at any time.
- Deletion: delete your account in the app (see Section 5), or contact us.
- Notifications: control push notifications in device or app settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability under laws like the GDPR or CCPA). To exercise them, contact us at the email below.
9. International Users
Aceezy and its service providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using the app, you consent to this processing.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted in the app. Your continued use of Aceezy after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
